SensatioNail Taupe Tulips

SensatioNail Taupe Tulips is a great nude color that I think will look great on every skin tone.

And because I can't help myself, I decided to dress it up a bit and added some stamping and nail studs.
I stamped with GoGo Only St.Happy plate, using FingerPaints Black Patent and in the center of the design I placed nail studs from Born Pretty Store, these are Silver studs, in size 1.2 mm

Sunday Stamping: Birds and Flowers

This weeks challenge from the Facebook page, Adventures in Stamping, is to stamp birds and flowers

My base is SensatioNail Taupe Tulips, stamped with OPI Get Ryd-of-thym Blues, on my ring finger, I stamped the bird using GoGo Only St.Merry plate and for the flowers I used BM-708

I really like this color combination, something about it reminds me of antique blue china dinnerware.

OPI Radial Gradient with stamping

I recently saw a post on the Facebook page dedicated to nail stamping, Adventures in Stamping (AIS) posted by Opal Hazlett, it was a radial gradient, which I had never seen before.
Instead of sponging on the colors in a vertical or horizontal line, like you would do for a typical gradient, you sponge them in a bullseye pattern. I was inspired by Opal and decided to give it a try myself, so here is my take on the radial gradient.

I used OPI Infinite Gel Effects Lacquer in the shades, Pretty Pink Perseveres as the middle of the bullseye, then Running with the In-finite Crowd surrounding that and Can't Be Beet at the outer most of the edge. I stamped using FingerPaints Patent Black with GoGo Only St.Merry plate.

Opal has a great tutorial on her Youtube channel showing exactly how to create a radial gradient along with some other awesome tutorials.

SensatioNail Spring Flowers

SensatioNail sent a few new colors for the month of April. All of the shades sent had flower names, so I thought a Spring flower manicure would be perfect!

Heirloom Lilac is a gorgeous slightly shimmery pale purple.

The flowers are stamped with Sinful Colors Snow Me White, using plate BM-701 and I used SensatioNail Purple Orchid to dot the middle of each flower.

I also put together a quick video

Sunday Stamping

I decided to participate in this weeks Sunday Stamping Challenge from the Facebook group, Adventures in Stamping.
This weeks challenge is, Roses aren't red....Flowers in unusual/unnatural colors.
Gold and holographic roses? I've never seen those before, lets see how that combo would look.

My base is Maybelline Bold Gold, topped with RCM World Premier, stamped with GOGO Only St.Happy plate using FingerPaints Black Patent.

I'm liking how these turned out, I love the rainbow effect of the holo over gold.

Red Carpet Manicure Diamond

April is here, and its time to share the "color of the month" from the Power of the Gem Collection, which happens to be Diamond.

Aries is March 21- April 19

Diamond is a scattered holographic topper, but also very pretty on its own, shown above with 2 coats.

Here is a blurred picture to show the rainbow effect, it sparkles just like a diamond!
