OPI Infinite Shine Gel Effects Lacquer System

*Picture heavy post*

Preen.me has teamed up with OPI and offered to send me a deluxe sampler kits to introduce Infinite Shine, a gel effect lacquer system, meant to wear up to 10 days, with no light required and that is easily removed with normal nail polish remover.
I have not yet tested the wear time with any of these because I wanted to get this post up for you, but I will definitely be testing it out and have a blog post with my thoughts and opinions in the near future.

The sample kit contains 10 shades plus the base and top coat, all in a great storage box with individual slots for each bottle and a little latch to keep them all secure.

Tanacious Spirit

Pretty Pink Perseveres

Running with the In-finite Crowd

Unequivocally Crimson

No Stopping Me Now

Can't Be Beet

Never Give Up!

We're In Black

Get Ryd-of-thym Blues

Withstand the Test of Thyme

I also did a few looks with some of the colors.

Here is a beach theme manicure using Tanacious Spirit as my base on my index and ring fingers and Withstands the Test of Thyme as a base on my middle and pinky fingers.
I stamped with Bundle Monster BM-XL25 using Never Give up for the sand dollars on my index finger, Get Ryd-of-thym Blues for the waves on my middle finger, No Stopping Me Now for the star fish on my ring finger and Never Give up for the shells on my pinky.

I also have a video tutorial for this look!

For this look, my base is Unequivocally Crimson and I decided to add triangle studs from Born Pretty Store. I really love these studs, they add a bit of an edge to an otherwise classic looking manicure.

I liked it so much, I had to add another shot of this from a different angle.

For my last look, I used Withstands the Test of Thyme for my base, and then stamped with Born Pretty plate BP-28 using Get Ryd-of-thym Blues, then I added some cute Mini Rhinestones that are also from Born Pretty Store. I think this is the perfect Spring time look.

These polishes are all extremely pigmented and work amazing for stamping! I am very impressed with the formula on each of these!
I'm sure you will be seeing these in many upcoming posts.

SensatioNail Gel Matte Top Coat

SensatioNail Midnight Rendezvous topped with Gel Matte Top Coat.
You just apply your SensatioNail gel manicure as usual and then add the Gel Matte top coat at the end, cure for 30 seconds and that's it, wipe away the tacky layer and you have a matte finish instead of a shiny one.

Here is Midnight Rendezvous prior to applying the matte top coat

And because I'm obsessed with stamping and I have to add it to every manicure.
I stamped with Uber Chic 1-02 using Sinful Colors Snow Me White.
I absolutely LOVE this paisley design!

Gogo Only St.Happy

Soon after I ordered the St.Merry plate from Gogo Only, they came out with another one, St.Happy, and since I knew the St.Merry plate was amazing, I was fairly certain this one wouldn't be any different.

Just like the St.Merry, the St.Happy came in a folder, shown here is the front and back.

blue protective film, that needs to be removed prior to use.

The same plastic backing with the GOGO ONLY logo.

Once again, 50 full size images, and this time 12 single images, which happen to be all the zodiac symbols.

My base is RCM Aquamarine, stamped with Sinful Colors Snow Me White
Just like the St.Merry plate, this one is perfect, nice crisp, clear images each time.

SensatioNail Golden One

I have been wearing Golden One for about 10 days now and it is still looking great! I added different stamping to dress it up again, and will continue wearing for a few more days until I change my entire manicure.

I stamped with BP-02 using Sinful Colors Snow Me White.

SensatioNail Team GelFanatic Goodies.

I got my package of goodies from SensatioNail last week as a part of being chosen as one of the official gel fanatics.
They sent me all of their newest products, 10 new shades, their gel matte top coat and the nail shield.

From left to right, In the Shade, Gray Day, Tropical Punch, Barely There, So Rosy, Pink Sand, Vanilla Chai, Macchiato, Golden One and Jade Treasure.
Please note that with Jade Treasure and In The Shade the color indicated on the box is slightly different from the actual polish color, I have been told that sometimes the box color doesn't print out correctly. I wanted to make you aware and to let you know that they will be adjusting the box color in the future so you can get a better idea of the polish color before you purchase, so you won't be disappointed that they don't look the same.
Jade Treasure

In The Shade

Also make note that Barely There and So Rosy are both sheer colors (perfect for french manicures!) this is indicated on the box.

I also wanted to compare them with a few colors
Left is Vanilla Chai and right is
Barely There, to me it seems that Barely There is the sheer version on Vanilla Chai

Left is Macchiato and right is So Rosy, once again to me, it seems like So Rosy is a sheer version on Macchiato.

This is the Matte top coat that will turn any of the SensatioNail colors from shiny to matte.

The Nail Shield is meant to be applied prior to your gel manicure for the purpose of easier, peel-able removal versus acetone soak.
I will have many blog posts to come with more details about each of these products and any tips I might have when using them.

I have already dug in and applied Golden One for my St.Patrick's Day manicure, now I've decided to change it up and add different stamping (when I stamp over gel, I usually don't use gel top coat, that way I can easily remove just the stamping and change it up when I want to)
I stamped with Bundle Monster BM-712 using FingerPaints Patent Black.
another shot of Golden One because it is just so pretty!

Purple and Orange Stamping Challenge.

This week's stamping challenge, from the Facebook page, Adventures in Stamping was to use the colors purple and orange.
I just got a few new colors from Sally Hansen, and two of them just happen to be purple and orange. The purple is called Leapin' Lilac and the orange is called Orange Zest, so I decided to join in.

The stamping is from Uber Chic Collection 1, plate 1-02
I wouldn't have thought to pair these colors together and that's what I like so much about Adventures in Stamping, is that they give you new ideas that you may not have had and force you to think outside the box.

Leapin' Lilac all on its own prior to stamping.

RCM Cinderella Collection

The Red Carpet Manicure Cinderella Collection is the latest collection from RCM, it consists of six shades, and is of course as the name states, inspired by the newly released Cinderella movie.

The packaging on this collection is beyond incredible, each shade is packaged in its own little book, the front cover opens up to reveal the polish and a quote from a character.

That's Madam To You is a shimmery robin egg blue.
With the quote from Drisella " I shall trick him into loving me, see if I don't!" written on the inside of the book.

Put A Slipper On It is a glitter topper, it has a clear base with white and holographic glitter.
With a quote from Cinderella on one side that says "They're made of glass" and a reply from the Fairy Godmother, "Yes, and you'll find that they're really comfortable"

I layered Put A Slipper On It over That's Madam To You

A Matter of Prince-Iple is a pale blue with golden shimmer.
With a quote from Ella that says "They are all looking at you" and a reply from the Prince, "Believe me, they are all looking at you"

Life is Short Wear a Tiara is a sheer blue base full of silver and holographic glitter, this is fully opaque with 2 coats as shown in the above photo, but it can also be used as a topper.
With a quote from Cinderella "We must simply have courage, and be kind, mustn't we?"

Well Aren't We Lovely is hot pink with subtle blue shimmer.
On the inside is a quote from Anastasia that reads, "Remember the lace! I simply must have it"

I layered Life is Short Wear a Tiara over Well Aren't We Lovely.

Fairy Tale Moment is a pale yellow with subtle pink shimmer.
The quote is from the Fairy Godmother that says "I'm you're fairy godmother, of course"

I think this collection has represented Cinderella perfectly, I'm really loving the glitters and the blue tones.

You can find RCM in Ulta or at Redcarpetmanicure.com
