Sunday Stamping:Combining another technique with stamping

It has been a very long time since I participated in a Sunday stamping challenge, or have done any kind of stamping for that matter, so I figured it was time try to get back into stamping a little more since it is something I love to do. This weeks challenge was to combine another technique with stamping, and the first thing that came to mind was the saran wrap technique.

Here is pre-stamping.
I started with a base of Sally Hansen Bait Me, when it was fully dry, I dabbed on NYC Skyline Blue, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Sally Hansen Dive In, using the saran wrap technique, which I explain how to do in a previous post.

I stamped with China Glaze Awaken using stamp BM-312, I decided to use silver as my stamping color  because I was reminded of the saying "every cloud has a silver lining"

Spellbound Nails:Easter Eggs Gone Holo Collection

Anyone that has read previous posts of mine, know that I may I have a slight obsession love for holographic polish, so I was beyond excited to receive this collection! Shades of pastel holo goodness perfect for Easter! I even snuck in video clips of each one of them so you could really get a feel for the magic of the holo effect. Please excuse any background noise there might be, I was outside, wind was blowing, cars were going by and birds were chirping.

Easter Grass is a chartreuse holo

Sally Hansen Triple Shine- Iridescence Collection

Happy Spring! To kick off the Season, I'm sharing a few shades from the new Sally Hansen Triple Shine Iridescence Collection

Oyster Bar is a great silver, nice and opaque, some brush strokes are visible, but in person you can't notice, I think it will be great for stamping.
Blow Bubbles is a pretty bright pink shimmer, above photo is 3 coats.

Bait Me is a pale gray shimmer, it is quite opaque, 2 coats used.

Clam Up is a shimmery pale pink, I used 3 coats for the above photo.

Drama Sheen is a pale purple shimmer, 3 coats used for the above photo, this one is my favorite of the bunch, I'm a sucker for purple colors, so this is no surprise.

Pool Party is a pale blue shimmer, and the most sheer of all, 3 coats used for the above photo.

I love them all, and even though some are on the sheer side, I think they will be great for layering over like colors. I look forward to playing with these to see what I can create.

French Manicure

It has been a few days of wearing Sensationail Wedding Pearl on its own, and I've decided to add white tips and turn it into a french manicure, it was a great way to bring new life to this manicure.

I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White for the tips, then added a regular topcoat.

Sensationail Wedding Pearl

Wedding Pearl is a beautiful iridescent pink color, it is very feminine and perfect for when you just want a little something special on your nails, but still want them to look natural. It does show your nail line, but you can always turn this into a french manicure if that bothers you, which I think I will do in a few days, but I adore this as is.

Spellbound Nails: The Drunken Leprechaun Duo

Ashley from Spellbound Nails was so sweet and sent me her newly released polishes, The Drunken Leprechaun Duo. I am a sucker for holo polish, (who isn't, right?) but even better, they glow in the dark, so I was super excited to receive them.

Lucky Charm, it is a pale green holo, which is a perfect spring color.

I decided to add some stamping to go with the theme of this duo, I stamped with plate M21 using Sinful Colors Last Chance to create this cute little shamrock design, which is perfect for St. Patrick's Day.

Here is the awesome glow

Next up is Magically Delicious, which is a darker green holo and my favorite of the two, I am drawn to darker colors like this.
