Color Club Beyond and comparisons

After getting Color Club Eternal Beauty, and well, falling in love with its beauty, I knew I needed to get Color Club Beyond, and its beyond beautiful!

Beyond is a deep charcoal with intense holo

I also picked up Color Club Revvvolution so I could do a comparison

(Above)I have Beyond on my index finger and ring finger, and Revvvolution on my middle and pinkie fingers. Revvvolution doesn't have as intense of a rainbow effect, but in my opinion it doesn't make a bit of a difference, I love them both equally and I'm glad I have them both
Once again, Beyond is on my index and ring fingers and Revvvolution is on my midde and pinkie fingers.
Bottle comparisons, Revvvolution is the black cap, Beyond is the silver cap.

While I was comparing, I wanted to see what China Glaze Galactic Gray would look like next to these two as well, so from left to right, we have Beyond, Revvvolution and Galactic Gray, no dupes at all, each one is unique and I adore them all.

Sunday Stamping Challenge: Inspired by your favorite shoes

This weeks Sunday Stamping challenge was to do a manicure inspired by your favorite shoes. I am not at all a girly girl, even though I am obsessed with painting my nails, its about as girly as I get, so I'm not a shoe fanatic type of person. Literally the only shoes I wear are sneakers and flip flops and since here in Las Vegas, the temperatures are already in the 90's, I practically live in flip flops, so that is what I chose to do for my manicure.

Since its so hot here, I am constantly dreaming of being at the beach all the time, so I wanted it to look like my flip flops were walking on a sparkling sandy beach, ahhhhhh, if only I really was.

My base color is China Glaze Fast Track, I stamped with Wet 'n' Wild Black Crème using BM-309

up close detail of the cute little flower flip flop, I used NYC skyline blue to dot the middle of each one.

I hope you enjoy this manicure as much as I do, I know its simple, but that's what I love about flip flops, they are effortless and simple, and that's my style.

Nail Swatches:China Glaze Hologlam Collection

I recently got 7 of the 12 polishes from the China Glaze Hologlam Collection. I found a good deal ($4.95 each) on Amazon and snatched up my favorites.

Cosmic Dust is a silver holo that seems to have a blue undertone to it, I'm not sure its my eyes playing tricks on me due to the rainbow effect or not

OMG a UFO is a gorgeous golden green holo

Get outta my space is a lovely lilac purple, I have a thing for purple so this one has my heart

When Stars Collide is a pretty plum color and is my absolute favorite, not just favorite from this collection, but its now my favorite polish of all time, if I only had one color to wear for the rest of my life, I'd be happy wearing this one!

Infra Red is a hot pink holo, I usually don't go for this type of bright color, but I just had to pick this one up and I'm glad I did

Strap on your moonboots is a beautiful navy blue holo, I love deeper blues like this

Galactic Gray is a graphite gray with what seems like a plum/purple undertone and is another of my favorites

I'm loving the smooth holographic effect this Collection has, and they dry to more of a satin finish which I'm also digging.

Press release: China Glaze Texture

China Glaze® introduces Texture, a unique new lacquer thatapplies as a crème but dries with a 3D texture effect. Unlike traditional nail art techniques that require multiple steps, Texture only requires one step—painting the nail. Texture dries matte, but can be combined with China Glaze® Fast Forward Top Coat for a glossy effect. With a finish similar to that of a sugared rim, Texture is the perfect accessory for a beach day, night-on-the-town, or special rendezvous.

Itty, Bitty & Gritty— melon with textured grit

Bump & Grind— hot pinkish-red with textured grit

In The Rough— light lime-green with textured grit

Of Coarse!— bright, cobalt-blue with textured grit

Toe-tally Textured— tangerine-orange with textured grit

Unrefined— bright pink with textured grit

The China Glaze® Texture collection will be available in May 2013 at fine salons and beauty
supply stores nationwide.

Review:The Wet Brush

Today I'm going to talk about something other than nail polish, but its just as important to me. I have long hair, that is fine and tangles very easily. I have always had to use detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle my wet hair. The thought of using a brush never crossed my mind, since my hair is so fine, it is very fragile and breaks easily. I thought the only way to safely get through tangles was with the wide tooth comb, so I have to say I was a huge skeptic when I decided to give this brush a try.

The Wet Brush shown in Classic Yellow

It looks like any other ordinary brush, but it is far from ordinary. I was surprised at how easily this brush went through my hair, and when it reached any sort of tangle, it worked through it without much effort at all, before I'd have to use detangling spray and try to carefully comb through a tangle and it would take quite a bit of time and it could be painful. I usually have a lot of hair loss/breakage after I comb through my hair, but I have noticed a big difference since using this brush. I have been using this brush for a few weeks now and I have nothing bad to say about it, I highly recommend it if you have troubles with tangles and want to save your hair (and arm) from time consuming detangling. This is the only brush I will use from now on.

You can purchase this brush here on the official site.
