Swatches of China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'n Pieces

Today I have swatches of the China Glaze Glitz-Bitz’N Pieces Collection, which are glitter topcoats.  I layered them all over China Glaze White Out, so that you can see the true color of the glitter, but you could use a similar color to the glitter or contrasting colors, the possibilites really are endless. All polishes have a clear base with black horizontal bar glitter, micro black ,small black, medium black, and large sized black hexagon-shaped glitter, and then each shade has micro, small and medium hexagon glitters, I will explain each shade below. The glitter is very dense, so you will not need to dig around in the bottle to get it on the brush. The results you see pictured are only one coat.

Just a fair warning, this post is going to be picture heavy!

Mosaic Madness has Blue glitter (micro, small and medium hexagons) in a clear base, along with black horizontal bar, micro, small, medium and large hexagon glitter.

Shown up close so you can see the details of the size and shape of the glitters

Graffiti Glitter has Green glitter (micro, small and medium hexagons) in a clear base, along with black horizontal bar, micro, small, medium and large hexagon glitter.

Bling It On is a Purple glitter (micro, small and medium hexagons) in a clear base, along with black horizontal bar, micro, small, medium and large hexagon glitter.

Scattered & Tattered is a Red glitter (micro, small and medium hexagons) in a clear base, along with black horizontal bar, micro, small, medium and large hexagon glitter.

Razzle Me, Dazzle Me has Pink glitter (micro, small and medium hexagons) in a clear base, along with black horizontal bar, micro, small, medium and large hexagon glitter.

Glitz 'N Pieces has Silver glitter (micro, small and medium hexagons) in a clear base, along with black horizontal bar, micro, small, medium and large hexagon glitter.

This collection is awesome, I love each shade, they apply like a dream and I can't wait to play with more color combinations. Thank You China Glaze!!!

Happy Birthday to me!!!

Today is my birthday and for my manicure I decided to choose Revlon Facets of Fuchsia. February's birthstone is Amethyst, and I wanted some sort of purple today, and this just jumped out at me, the glitter reminds of me of little Amethyst stones.

Facets of Fuchsia is a mix of micro & medium vibrant purple hexagon glitters in a black jelly base, I did apply this over one coat of China Glaze Liquid Leather because I had previously worn this and it was more sheer than I would have liked. The glitter tends to stick to the sides of the bottle and also the brush, but if you mix it really well before you apply it, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting a well distrubted amount on your nail.

You may have also noticed, my watermark has changed, I thought maybe my previous one was a bit distracting since it was so large, so hopefully this one is more appealing :)

Open Hearts

Happy Valentine's Day! I'm rocking this beautiful manicure today! It's my seven year Wedding Anniversary, and my husband loves red nail polish, so I knew I wanted to wear some sort of red polish for him today. When I was looking through my stash, I came across Zoya Blaze, and I hadn't had a chance to wear it yet, and today seemed to be the perfect day for it. I'm glad I chose it, because I absolutely adore it!

I had just gotten NYC Matte Me Crazy, and I couldn't resist trying it out on something, I think it looks great mattified!
